WHAT – Nassau County Legislator Olena Nicks (D – Uniondale) is partnering with the Cornell Cooperative Extension Nassau County and Harmony Healthcare to host “Nurturing Her” – a women’s health initiative at the John J. Byrne Community Center in Uniondale on Monday, April 20. The evening’s scheduled activities include a series of presentations focused on women’s health resources and programs that can help families preserve and enhance their health in 2026 and beyond.
“Women’s History Month may have come to a close, but prioritizing women’s health remains our year-round pledge and mission,” Legislator Nicks said. “I am proud to be working with the Cornell Cooperative, Harmony Healthcare, and the John J. Byrne Community Center on a program that seeks to uplift, educate and empower women.”
