(ELMONT, N.Y.) – More than 50 people attended a financial planning workshop hosted by Nassau County Legislator Carrié Solages (D – Valley Stream) at the Elmont Memorial Library on Tuesday, June 2. During the event, experts shared their knowledge regarding financial planning, retirement planning, investment accounts, passive income, investment strategies and estate planning.
“Sound financial planning is a pathway to greater stability and the creation of generational wealth that can be passed to future generations, and knowing how to make your money work best for you is especially important amidst these challenging economic times,” Legislator Solages said. “I am glad that dozens of our neighbors took advantage of this opportunity to secure their futures, and I thank all of the experts who shared their knowledge so freely during this event.”
