WHAT - With the Oct. 14 deadline to register to vote in the 2022 general election looming, Nassau County Legislator Debra Mulé (D - Freeport) is partnering with the Nassau County Board of Elections to present the “Know Your Voting Rights” seminar and voter registration program at the Freeport Memorial Library on Tuesday, Sept. 20. During this event, participants will learn about:
• How to register to vote
• How to fill out a ballot
• How to cast your ballot on the DS200
• How to access disability-related accommodations and language assistance at the polls
• How to use AutoMark
• How to vote early in Nassau County (Saturday, Oct. 29 - Sunday, Nov. 6)
• How to fill out an absentee ballot application
• Key upcoming election deadlines, and
• How to work on Election Day for the Nassau County Board of Elections
