(UNIONDALE, N.Y.) – Nassau County Legislator Olena Nicks (D – Uniondale) proudly joined the owners of Uniondale’s Golden Crest on Saturday, Sept. 19 for a grand re-opening ribbon cutting and celebratory fish fry. Legislator Nicks presented a Nassau County Legislature Citation to the owners in commemoration of this momentous occasion. “For more than three decades, Golden Crest has served Uniondale and neighboring communities with a commitment to authentic Jamaican cuisine that has made them a beloved fixture,” Legislator Nicks said. “I’m thrilled to see that, after a brief hiatus and renovations, that they’re back and doing what they do best!”
