(WEST HEMPSTEAD, N.Y.) – Nassau County Legislator Olena Nicks (D – Uniondale) joined the community at Riesterer’s on Saturday, Oct. 17 to celebrate the iconic bakery’s 95th anniversary in West Hempstead. Legislator Nicks presented the team with a Nassau County Legislature Citation commemorating this major milestone. “Powered by an unwavering commitment to their family’s tradition of excellence and service, Riesterer’s has been the sweetest spot in town for generations, and they show no signs of slowing down,” Legislator Nicks said. “It was a pleasure to join Karl Riesterer and his team as they celebrated the incredible achievement of nearly a century making memories in the West Hempstead community!”
