(MERRICK and FREEPORT, N.Y.) – Nassau County Legislator Seth I. Koslow (D – Merrick) presented a Nassau County Legislature Citation to Bagel Plaza owners Sam Asatur and Yana Hirschorn (pictured above) on Thursday, Dec. 12. They were recognized for their donation of bagels and coffee for the Oct. 24 Senior Health Expo that Legislator Koslow sponsored with Senator Kevin Thomas in Freeport. “Generous donations from local business owners like Sam and Yana add a welcoming personal touch to events like our Senior Health Expo and encourage our guests to take full advantage of the resources that are being provided,” Legislator Koslow said. “I thank them for their support and look forward to working with them again in the future!”
