WHAT: Nassau County Legislator Seth I. Koslow (D – Merrick) is once again partnering with Northwell Health’s Long Island Jewish Valley Stream Hospital to provide free flu shots for seniors at the Merrick Library on Friday, Oct. 3 and at the North Merrick Library on Friday, Oct. 10. No appointment is required for either of these clinics, which are both scheduled for 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
“Flu shots are an indispensable tool for keeping ourselves safe and healthy during the winter months, and it is an especially important one for Nassau’s seniors,” Legislator Koslow said. “I am happy to once again be working with Northwell Health and our local libraries to do our part to ensure that every community member who wants this vaccine can conveniently receive it at no charge.”
