Nassau County Legislator Debra Mulé Celebrates Launch of 100 Hispanic Women’s Long Island Chapter

(MINEOLA, N.Y.) - Nassau County Legislator Debra Mulé (D - Freeport) welcomed the leaders of the new Long Island chapter of 100 Hispanic Women to the Theodore Roosevelt Executive & Legislative Building on Friday, Feb. 11. During their visit, Legislator Mulé presented a Nassau County Legislature Citation to chapter President Alicia McGrath, First Vice-President Amy Flores, and Secretary Kisha Chandler.

100 Hispanic Women is a not-for-profit and nonpartisan women’s empowerment organization that seeks to eliminate obstacles and create opportunities for Latinas to innovate and maximize their potential by building strategic partnerships and promoting inclusion in government and corporate America. 

“Nassau County draws tremendous strength from its rich diversity, and organizations like the Long Island Chapter of 100 Hispanic Women deliver crucial support to help our residents thrive,” Legislator Mulé said. “I am delighted that such an impactful organization has launched a Long Island chapter, and it was my pleasure to congratulate the entire board for their commitment to serving the residents of Nassau County.”
