Legislator DeRiggi-Whitton Invite Residents to Learn How to Save a Life at Narcan Training

WHAT: Equip yourself with the knowledge that may one day empower you to save a person’s life by joining Nassau County Legislator Delia DeRiggi-Whitton (D – Glen Cove) and the Glen Cove Fire Department for an upcoming Narcan training at 7 p.m. on Thursday, May 18, 2023.

 

In addition to learning how to spot the signs of an opiate overdose, participants will also be shown how to administer intranasal Naloxone to reverse an overdose and learn about new approaches to treating addiction. Narcan kits will be available for contactless pick up to all trainees containing the overdose antidote.
