(GLEN COVE, N.Y.) - Nassau County Legislator Delia DeRiggi-Whitton (D - Glen Cove) had the pleasure of joining the Petrella family to celebrate the 90th birthday of Glen Cove native Anthony Petrella. Legislator DeRiggi-Whitton presented Mr. Petrella a special Nassau County Legislature Citation commemorating this milestone birthday. After completing his service, Mr. Petrella worked for Nassau County for more than two decades and married his wife of 65 years, Doris. Together they raised five sons and have six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

“Through his involvement in the community, his career, and his service during the Korean War, Anthony Petrella has made great contributions to Nassau County and our nation,” Legislator DeRiggi-Whitton said. “It was an honor and a pleasure to join in this celebration of his 90th birthday and wish him good health and happiness in the years ahead!”
