(GLEN COVE, N.Y.) – Nassau County Legislature Minority Leader Delia DeRiggi-Whitton (D – Glen Cove) joined the community in wishing longtime Glen Cove Stop and Shop employee Laura Kallman all the best as she retires after 20 years with the supermarket. On Friday, April 29 – Laura’s last day at work - Minority Leader DeRiggi-Whitton presented her with a Nassau County Legislature Citation in recognition of this major milestone.
“For two decades, Laura has been a constant presence who has put smiles on so many faces with her warm personality and strong work ethic,” Minority Leader DeRiggi-Whitton said. “She is living proof that kindness can make a tremendous impact in our lives, and I wish her all the best – and much success to her beloved New York Islanders – during this well-earned next chapter of her life. Thank you for everything, Laura!”
