Prior to the Town of North Hempstead’s anticipated vote this evening to extend a moratorium on lithium battery storage facilities in the Township, Nassau County Legislature Minority Leader Delia DeRiggi-Whitton (D – Glen Cove) wrote the attached letter to Town Supervisor Jennifer DeSena to express her support for an extension.
