Minority Leader DeRiggi-Whitton proudly supported the inaugural Film Festival by securing $17,000 in recent Hotel-Motel Occupancy Tax Fund grant funds, which was applied toward the purchase of mobile projection units, viewing screens and speakers.
“I was thrilled that we were able to secure County grants to support an event that showcases the talents of so many impressive local artists, and it was great to see how the screenings were extremely well attended and embraced by the public,” Minority Leader DeRiggi-Whitton said. “This inaugural Film Festival further complements the impressive array of events that the Sea Cliff Arts Council has presented for more than a quarter of a century.
