(PORT WASHINGTON, N.Y.) – Nassau County Legislature Minority Leader Delia DeRiggi-Whitton (D – Glen Cove) proudly joined her colleagues in government and members of the Port Washington Adult Activities Center on Tuesday, Feb. 3 to celebrate the 102nd birthday of Anna Cacaccio. During the celebration, Minority Leader DeRiggi-Whitton presented Anna with a Nassau County Legislature Citation to mark the impressive milestone. Among the revelers at Tuesday’s gathering were Anna’s 96-year-old sister, Rose.
“Anna’s spirit is enviable and her love for life is truly an inspiration – and it is wonderful that we have a place like the Port Washington Adult Activities Center that is dedicated to enriching the lives of our seniors as they enjoy their golden years,” Minority Leader DeRiggi-Whitton said. “It was such a pleasure to be part of this celebration and wish Anna a happy birthday – may you have many more filled with love and good health!”
