WHAT – Nassau County Legislator Seth I. Koslow (D – Merrick) is partnering with the Office of the Nassau County District Attorney to host a senior scam prevention workshop at the Freeport Memorial Library at 6 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 9.
“As a former prosecutor, it is especially infuriating to see how frequently scammers attempt to steal the money Nassau seniors have worked their whole lives for – and I am committed to doing all I can to stop these criminals in their tracks,” Legislator Koslow said. “I invite community members of all ages to join us at the Freeport Library on Dec. 9 for an informative and empowering evening that will better equip us to protect ourselves from fraud.”
