(GARDEN CITY, N.Y.) - Nassau County Legislator Debra Mulé (D - Freeport) celebrated the accomplishments of Nassau County’s law enforcement professionals during the Nassau County Police Department’s Promotion and Designation Ceremony on Thursday, Feb. 3. During the ceremony, Legislator Mulé presented a Nassau County Legislature Citation to Fifth Legislative District resident Jesus Bonilla, who was promoted to Detective First Grade.
“These outstanding professionals have dedicated countless hours to honing their skills and gaining the experience they need to excel as law enforcement professionals,” Legislator Mulé said. “It was truly a pleasure to be on hand to witness the promotion of Detective Bonilla and so many of his colleagues during this ceremony. I wish them great success in the months and years ahead and will pray for their safety as they continue to serve the residents of Nassau County.”
