(MINEOLA and FREEPORT, N.Y.) - Nassau County Legislator Debra Mulé (D - Freeport) was sworn in to serve her second two-year term representing the Fifth Legislative District during the induction of the 13th Nassau County Legislature on Monday, Jan. 13.

Abrahams (D - Freeport), represents Baldwin, Freeport, South Hempstead, and parts of Rockville Centre, Merrick and Oceanside.

Comptroller DiNapoli administered the oath of office to Legislator Mulé and her colleagues in the Minority Legislative Caucus. Earlier in the ceremony, a stirring performance of “America The Beautiful” by the Baldwin High School Chamber Singers earned a standing ovation.

“I am deeply grateful to the residents of Nassau County’s Fifth Legislative District for entrusting me with another term as their representative,” Legislator Mulé said. “I look forward to continuing to serve and advocate for policies and legislation that will make Nassau County a better place for all of us to live, work, and raise our families.”
