Everyone encouraged to join a cleanup of the beautiful Brookside Preserve: Sunday, April 17th 1 PM.
(Baldwin and Freeport, NY) – Nassau County Legislator Laura Curran, along with the South Shore Audubon Society is set to sponsor a cleanup of the Brookside Preserve that runs along the Baldwin and Freeport border. The cleanup will start at 1 PM, and volunteers will be meeting at Wallace Ave. & Irving St in Baldwin, with Legislator Curran OR at the Terrace Ave. entrance in Freeport, with the South Shore Audubon society. Volunteers should wear protective clothing (long sleeves and pants) and bring gloves.
