WHAT – Nassau County Legislator Carrié Solages (D – Valley Stream), PSEG Long Island, and his partners in local and state government are joining forces to bring an energy-saving presentation to Elmont Memorial Library on Sunday, Oct. 11. The event will provide attendees with an opportunity to learn about programs, rebates, and resources that they can utilize to potentially reduce their energy consumption and costs.
The presentation is being hosted in partnership with New York State Assemblymembers Michaelle Solages and Judy Griffin and Nassau County Legislator Cynthia Nuñez (D – Valley Stream).
“Reducing our energy consumption is always a priority as we continue to combat climate change and protect the environment for our children, but when energy costs are soaring because of the war in Iran and escalating tensions with traditional trade partners like Canada, conservation becomes even more important as a way to help families make ends meet,” Legislator Solages said. “I appreciate PSEG-Long Island, Assemblymembers Solages and Griffin, and Legislator Nuñez for partnering with us to bring these vital resources to Elmont and our region.”
