(LAKEVIEW, N.Y.) – Nassau County Legislator Carrié Solages (D – Valley Stream) joined the community at St. John’s Baptist Church in Lakeview on Sunday, Aug. 30 for their annual Law Enforcement Appreciation Day service. “Law enforcement and the community each have an important role to pay, and when we work together, we are better equipped to keep our neighborhoods safe, respectful, and connected,” Legislator Solages said. “It was a pleasure to join Reverend Dr. William E. Thomas – a retired NYPD Sergeant himself - and NCPD Commissioner Patrick Ryder as we recognized our local law enforcement.”
