(GLEN COVE, N.Y.) – On Thanksgiving Day, Nassau County Legislature Minority Leader Delia DeRiggi-Whitton (D – Glen Cove) visited the Butler Street Apartments in Glen Cove for a community Thanksgiving dinner hosted by residents of the complex. Minority Leader DeRiggi-Whitton dropped off cookies for the residents to enjoy during dinner and wished everyone a happy Thanksgiving.
“Many people pause to give thanks as we begin the holiday season, and this was one of many ways to share in the spirit of the season,” Minority Leader DeRiggi-Whitton said. “It was wonderful to spend Thanksgiving in our community with so many appreciative people at this special time of year.”
