(GLEN COVE, N.Y.) - Nassau County Legislator Delia DeRiggi-Whitton (D - Glen Cove) and City of Glen Cove Mayor Timothy Tenke welcomed Nassau County Executive Laura Curran to the Garvies Point Museum and Preserve for a tour on Wednesday, Sept. 23. Situated on a 62-acre preserve, the Garvies Point Museum is in its sixth decade of operation and remains active in the study of Long Island’s Native American archaeology and as a research facility for geology.
