(EAST MEADOW, N.Y.) - Nassau County Legislator Debra Mulé (D - Freeport) proudly joined the leaders of local veterans’ organizations and her colleagues in government on Sunday, Nov. 7 to commemorate Veterans Day during a ceremony held at the Veterans Memorial in Eisenhower Park.
“This weekend’s poignant gathering provided a meaningful opportunity to commemorate Veterans Day and honor all who wore the uniform of our nation with honor and distinction,” Legislator Mulé said. “May we always cherish the courageous service of Nassau County’s veterans and never forget the sacrifices they made in defense of the freedoms we hold dear as Americans.”
