Deputy Minority Leader Drucker Honors Nassau’s 30 New Corrections Officers

(UNIONDALE, N.Y) – Nassau County Legislature Deputy Minority Leader Arnold W. Drucker (D – Plainview) joined leaders in law enforcement and his government colleagues at the David S. Mack Center for Training and Intelligence on Thursday, Aug. 14 to celebrate the graduation of the 30-member Correction Officer Recruit Class No. 115. Each of the graduates were embarking on their new careers after completing 10 weeks of intense training.

“Equipped with the knowledge and skills they gained through their rigorous and thorough training regimen, these outstanding men and women are equipped and ready to protect the people of Nassau County through this vital form of law enforcement,” Deputy Minority Leader Drucker said. “I congratulate our newest Corrections Officers for achieving this important milestone, and I wish them tremendous success and safety as they fulfill their duties.”
