“The data is clear: Flavored vape products get kids hooked on nicotine. Former FDA Administrator Dr. Marty Makary - who the Trump administration just forced out - said so himself in an interview with ABC News last July.
It is an absolute travesty that Trump’s FDA would prioritize profits for Big Vape corporate robber-barons over the long-term health and wellness of our children. This shocking decision makes me especially grateful that the law I authored to ban flavored vapes in Nassau County was ultimately enacted statewide, and I will never waver in my commitment to protecting our youth from being exposed to addictive substances.”
