(MINEOLA, N.Y.) – During the Monday, March 23 meeting of the full Nassau County Legislature, Deputy Minority Leader Arnold W. Drucker (D – Plainview) had the pleasure of welcoming Adam Kass, a 10-year-old District 16 constituent with a passion for politics and local government, to the Theodore Roosevelt Executive & Legislative Building. After observing the meeting, Kass joined Deputy Minority Leader Drucker in his office for a question-and-answer session.
“Adam’s thoughtful questions and genuine curiosity reflected a deep interest in understanding how government works, and his eagerness to sit through an entire session spoke volumes about his commitment to learning,” Deputy Minority Leader Drucker said. “It was a privilege to recognize him in front of my colleagues on the dais and to celebrate his enthusiasm for civic engagement. I’d also like to extend my sincere thanks to his parents, Sarah and Joel Kass, for supporting his passion, and Rabbi Joel Levenson from the Midway Jewish Center for the introduction. Adam’s innate recognizable characteristics for leadership will only serve our community and nation well in the future!”
