(FARMINGDALE, N.Y.) – As part of Small Business Saturday on Long Island and across America, Nassau County Legislature Deputy Minority Leader Arnold W. Drucker (D – Plainview) proudly joined the Farmingdale Chamber of Commerce, Farmingdale Village Mayor Ralph Ekstrand and their colleagues in government in marching at the Village’s annual holiday parade – an event with drew hundreds of revelers along with shoppers to the vibrant downtown hub.
“Nassau County’s small businesses make our downtowns sparkle and shine during the holiday season and all year long, and events like the Farmingdale holiday parade are an amazing platform for local entrepreneurs,” Deputy Minority Leader Drucker said. “Thank you to the Farmingdale Chamber and Mayor Ekstrand and all of the organizers for spearheading this growing holiday tradition, and I encourage everyone to shop small and support the local businesses that fuel our community’s character and prosperity!”
