On Saturday, March 14, Nassau County Legislature Deputy Minority Leader Arnold W. Drucker (D – Plainview) and Legislators Scott M. Davis (D – Rockville Centre), Olena Nicks (D – Uniondale) and Viviana L. Russell (D – Westbury) attended the annual Nassau Region PTA Legislative Conference at Nassau BOCES Barry Tech in Westbury. The annual legislative conference featured a Q&A with elected officials and drew an audience of regional and local PTA representatives. Topics included educator retention, charter schools, immigration enforcement, SNAP benefits, mental health, foundation aid formula, etc.
