(PLAINVIEW-OLD BETHPAGE, N.Y.) – Nassau County Legislature Deputy Minority Leader Arnold W. Drucker (D – Plainview) proudly joined the leaders, members, and supporters of the Plainview Volunteer Fire Department on Saturday, May 16 for their 99th annual Installation Dinner at The Barn at Old Bethpage Village Restoration. During the ceremony, Deputy Minority Leader Drucker presented Nassau County Legislature Citations to Ex-Captain Gerard Petti and
Ex-Captain Bruce Mosco, both of whom celebrated 50 years of service with the department.
“Not only has the Plainview Fire Department kept our community safe for 99 years, they have also kept me and my own family safe for my entire life, and I owe them a special debt of gratitude,” Deputy Minority Leader Drucker said. “Their courage is evident in how they rush toward danger to serve and protect their neighbors, and it is always a pleasure to join our hometown heroes in a celebration of their unwavering commitment to protecting our community.”
