The following is a statement from Nassau County Legislature Deputy Minority Leader Arnold W. Drucker (D – Plainview) –
“Earlier today, the Nassau County Police Department announced the Jan. 29 arrest of two Florida men in Plainview, during which officers seized more than 750 pounds of cocaine. This is just the latest example of the outstanding training, keen observational skills, and community-focused approach to policing that equipped these Nassau PD officers to execute one of the largest drug busts in the history of this County,” Nassau County Legislature Deputy Minority Leader Arnold W. Drucker (D – Plainview) said. “As a lifelong Plainview resident, I am particularly grateful to NCPD for keeping our community and our families safe from a scourge that continues to plague Nassau County and our nation, and I applaud these detectives and officers for thwarting a massive drug enterprise that would have otherwise had the potential to poison and kill hundreds of people.”
