
(UNIONDALE, N.Y.) – Nassau County Legislature Deputy Minority Leader Arnold W. Drucker (D - Plainview) was sworn in for his fifth full term representing the residents of the 16th Legislative District during inaugural ceremonies held at Uniondale’s Cradle of Aviation Museum on Thursday, Jan. 8.
With family, friends and supporters looking on, Deputy Minority Leader Drucker and his Minority Caucus colleagues were sworn in by New York State Comptroller Thomas DiNapoli. The newly reapportioned 16th District is comprised of Plainview, Old Bethpage, Farmingdale Village, Woodbury, Syosset, Jericho, and Hicksville.
“I begin my 10th year of service with a heart full of gratitude and inspiration, and there is no doubt that we have a full agenda and important priorities to address in 2026,” Deputy Minority Leader Drucker said. “Thank you for the privilege of being your advocate - from the community, for the community - in the Nassau County Legislature. I'm grateful to my wife, my family, and the residents of Legislative District 16 for their unwavering support.”
