(PLAINVIEW, N.Y.) – Nassau County Legislature Deputy Minority Leader Arnold W. Drucker (D – Plainview) joined thousands of residents at the Mid Island Y JCC on Sunday, May 3 for the Plainview-Old Bethpage Chamber of Commerce’s annual SpringFest community celebration.
During the event, Deputy Minority Leader Drucker met with constituents and discussed community issues with them as they perused the diversified array of vendors and attractions. This year’s SpringFest featured more than 100 artisans and vendors; a Foodie Fest food truck rally; a free Kids Fun Zone with a giant rock wall; ninja obstacle course, free cream, a gaga pit, and more.
“As the Mid Island Y JCC approaches its 70th anniversary, it’s wonderful to see how the community continues to enjoy SpringFest so enthusiastically – and much of that is due to the diligence and hard work of the Plainview-Old Bethpage Chamber of Commerce, the Mid Island Y, and all of the partners who make it so dynamic and special,” Deputy Minority Leader Drucker said. “I truly appreciate everyone who stopped my last Plainview-Old Bethpage SpringFest as a Legislator and reminisced with me about the work of the last 10 years – something I’m looking forward to doing again at the Syosset-Woodbury Street Fair later this year. It is an honor to be a product of this amazing community and a privilege to represent it in local government!”
