(PLAINVIEW, N.Y.) - Nassau County Legislator Arnold W. Drucker (D - Plainview) had the pleasure of joining the Plainview community on Saturday, Sept. 27 for the district’s homecoming celebration and football game. The Hawks capped off the festivities at Plainview-Old Bethpage John F. Kennedy High School with a 28 - 12 win on the gridiron.
“Attending homecoming always brings back so many great memories as a high school student, and a generation later when I was watching with immense pride as my son was the quarterback for the Hawks for two years – and telling my wife when she could open her eyes every time he was tackled,” Deputy Minority Leader Drucker said. “I loved seeing the energy and enthusiasm of the athletes, coaches, parents, administrators, and the entire school community come together on a perfect day. The band did an amazing job, and it was an honor to march in the parade once again. Congratulations to the Hawks on their homecoming victory!”
