Please see below for a statement by Nassau County Legislature Deputy Minority Leader Arnold W. Drucker (D – Plainview) -
This morning, Nassau County woke up to the news that, after 738 days of hellish imprisonment by Hamas terrorists, Omri Miran, Matan Angrest, Ziv Berman, Gali Berman, Guy Gilboa-Dalal, Alon Ohel, and Eitan Mor, Ariel Cunio, David Cunio, Avinatan Or, Bar Kupershtein, Eitan Horn, Elkana Bohbot, Evyatar David, Maksym Harkin, Matan Zangauker, Nimrod Cohen, Rom Braslvaski, Segev Kalfon, and Yosef-Chaim Ohana, are finally coming home to their families.
As we rejoice in this news, we must remain unwavering in our demands, efforts, and prayers for the immediate release of all 28 fallen hostages - including Plainview's Omer Neutra - who has been in captivity since he was murdered on Oct. 7, 2023 - to their families and loved ones.
May each of us remain vigilant and vocal in the days ahead so that Israel and the world can achieve a just and lasting peace.
The following is a statement from Legislator Seth I. Koslow (D – Merrick) –
Today is a time to celebrate. After 738 days, the hostages Hamas has held captive are going home. It has been two years since Hamas’s October 7th terror attack, where they took over 250 hostages. I applaud the Trump administration, all of the countries, leaders, and organizations involved in bringing the hostages home and facilitating a ceasefire.
