
(PLAINVIEW, N.Y.) – In recognition of March as Women’s History Month in America, Nassau County Legislature Deputy Minority Leader Arnold W. Drucker (D – Plainview) honored Plainview luminary Marsha Elowsky for her lifelong commitment to community service.
Deputy Minority Leader Drucker presented Elowsky, who was recently profiled in Newsday for her tireless efforts to give back to her community, a Nassau County Legislature Citation celebrating the myriad ways in which she continues to enrich the lives of those around her.
“Marsha Elowsky not only speaks eloquently about the importance of having a purpose in your life – she lives it every day through her actions and her unrelenting efforts to give back to the Plainview community,” Deputy Minority Leader Drucker said. “Her moral and philanthropic leadership is the true embodiment of the spirit of Women’s History Month, and it was a privilege to recognize her for how she makes the world a better place each and every day.”
