(PLAINVIEW, N.Y.) – Nassau County Legislature Deputy Minority Leader Arnold W. Drucker (D – Plainview) had the privilege of joining the community for Plainview Hospital’s annual Christmas tree and Menorah lighting celebration on Tuesday, Dec. 2. The festivities included performances by the Plainview-Old Bethpage John F. Kennedy High School orchestra and Acapella Chorus, assistance from the Plainview Fire Department, and a visit from Santa Claus.
“With so much of the Plainview community coming together, the rain was never going to stop us from celebrating the season and lighting these beacons of joy and hope for all to see,” Deputy Minority Leader Drucker said. “Thank you to Plainview Hospital President Michael Scarpelli and his team, the outstanding singers and musicians from Plainview-Old Bethpage High School, the brave men and women from the Plainview Fire Department, and all of the revelers for making this such a festive occasion!”
