WHAT: Nassau County Legislature Deputy Minority Leader Arnold W. Drucker (D - Plainview) is partnering with the Nassau County Police Department’s Office of Community Affairs and the County’s Department of Traffic Safety to provide free Child Car Seat Safety Checks at the Syosset Public Library from 9 a.m. – noon on Tuesday, May 26. Certified technicians will apply their expertise toward ensuring that car seats are properly installed and providing optimal protection. “As a grandfather, one of my greatest joys in my life is the time I spend with my grandchildren, and I always want to everything I can to keep them safe and comfortable, Deputy Minority Leader Drucker said. “If you regularly have the privilege of driving for youngsters like I do, I invite you to make an appointment to get your car seats checked by NCPD professionals – something that will give you and your family the peace of mind you deserve to have.”
Appointments are required. Contact Deputy Minority Leader Drucker’s office at 516-571-6216 or Adrucker@nassaucountyny.gov for additional information and to make an appointment.
