(BETHPAGE, N.Y.) - Nassau County Legislature Deputy Minority Leader Arnold W. Drucker (D – Plainview) honored Harshal Metha during an Eagle Scout Court of Honor ceremony at the Bethpage Senior Community Center on Saturday, Oct. 10. Deputy Minority Leader Drucker presented Metha, who interned in his legislative office over the summer, with a Nassau County Legislature Citation recognizing his accomplishments and the commitment community service that earned him the highest rank in Scouting.
“While working with Harshal at the Legislature, it quickly became evident that he enthusiastically embraced the spirit of leadership and commitment to public service that it as the core of every Eagle Scout’s journey to this impressive milestone,” Deputy Minority Leader Drucker said. “It was such a pleasure to be with Harshal’s friends and family to congratulate him on this outstanding accomplishment – we are tremendously proud of you and know the future is a brighter one in your hands!”
