(PLAINVIEW, N.Y.) – Nassau County Legislature Deputy Minority Leader Arnold W. Drucker (D – Plainview) joined leaders and supporters of the Plainview-Old Bethpage Library on Monday, Sept. 23 to celebrate the grand opening of Mongo’s Coffee at the Library. Deputy Minority Leader Drucker presented a Nassau County Legislature Citation in recognition of the momentous occasion of the café’s expansion beyond its main Syosset location.
“Mongo’s Coffee has earned a reputation in the community as an outstanding coffee roaster and a destination for gatherings – and that unifying spirit makes them a perfect partner for the Plainview-Old Bethpage Library,” Deputy Minority Leader Drucker said. “I wish owner Mitchel ‘Mongo’ Margulis tremendous success in this new venture and encourage everyone to enjoy a good book and a great cup of coffee at the Plainview-Old Bethpage Library!”
