(FARMINGDALE, N.Y.) - Nassau County Legislature Deputy Minority Leader Arnold W. Drucker (D – Plainview) joined supporters of Girls Inc. of Long Island at the Heritage Club at Bethpage on Thursday, Nov. 7 for the organization’s annual luncheon

Girls Inc. of Long Island provides school and community-based programming that serves the unique needs of girls ages 5-18, living in Nassau and Suffolk Counties. Like similar regional chapters throughout the country, Girls Inc. Long Island strives to help girls achieve their full potential and pave the way for a brighter future.

“For generations, Girls Inc. has given young women across America the tools and the confidence to be strong, smart, and bold advocates for themselves, their communities, and for a more just and equitable future. On Long Island, Renée Flagler’s exceptional leadership and the efforts of her dedicated team empower girls to reach their full potential on a daily basis,” Deputy Minority Leader Drucker. “It is always a privilege to support Girls Inc. and their efforts to illuminate young leaders who are making a difference.”
