Nassau County Legislator Judy Jacobs (D-Woodbury) recently attended Syosset High School’s Gift of Life program on Tuesday, November 25th. The most repeated phrase of the morning was “7 from 7 for 7,” which implied the focus of the program – sponsorships will be given to 7 children from 7 continents for 7 heart operations. Syosset High School’s Interact Club has been one of several benefactors behind the important successes of this program. Jacobs said, “This is one of the most amazing, beautiful, compassionate clubs I have ever seen. It is an absolute honor to have them in our County!”
