[ARCHIVED] Legislator Arnold W. Drucker Takes Oath of Office, Embarks Upon Second Full Term

(MINEOLA and PLAINVIEW, N.Y.) - Nassau County Legislator Arnold W. Drucker (D - Plainview) was sworn in to serve his second full two-year term representing the 16th Legislative District during a ceremony at the Nassau County Legislature on Monday, Jan. 27.


New York State Assemblyman Charles D. Lavine (D - Glen Cove) administered the oath of office. Legislator Drucker was elected in a 2016 special election to succeed the late Judy Jacobs, a former Presiding Officer and founding member of the Nassau County Legislature. The 16th Legislative District encompasses Plainview, Old Bethpage, Jericho, Syosset, Woodbury, Hicksville, Old Westbury, and Roslyn Heights.

“The next two years are brimming with promise and potential, and I am committed to tackling our shared challenges with an open mind and a sharp focus on meeting the needs of Nassau residents,” Legislator Drucker said. “I am truly humbled to have been entrusted with the privilege of representing the 16th District in the Nassau County Legislature and am deeply grateful that my family was able to share in this special moment.”
