(JERICHO, N.Y.) - Nassau County Legislator Arnold W. Drucker (D - Plainview) joined forces with Jericho Cares and Legislator Joshua Lafazan to host a toiletry drive benefiting local families in need. Thanks to the generosity of local residents, more than $2,000 worth of personal care products, including shampoo, soap, deodorant, toothpaste and mouthwash and disposable razors were gathered. The two-week drive concluded on Friday, March 19.
“As many Nassau County families continue to navigate the persistent economic hardships created by the COVID-19 pandemic, I was truly gratified to witness the generosity that made our supply drive such a success,” Legislator Drucker said. “I was honored to have worked with Legislator Lafazan and Jericho Cares to support our neighbors in their hour of need.”
