(MALVERNE, N.Y.) – Nassau County Legislator Carrié Solages (D – Valley Stream) visited Malverne High School on Thursday, Sept. 24, where he helped kick off Malverne’s Leaders of Tomorrow Guest Speaker Series. Speaking to Leaders of Tomorrow and AP Government students, he spoke about his journey from local schools to law school, his career as a prosecutor, and ultimately public service.
“I wanted to remind these students that their future is wide open. One of them may go on to become a lawyer, a legislator, or a leader in their community — and it all starts with the choices they make today,” Legislator Solages said. “Our public schools are filled with talented young people who can accomplish great things, and it was truly inspiring to spend time with the next generation of leaders and help to launch this series.”
