(MELVILLE, N.Y.) – Nassau County Legislators Carrié Solages (D – Valley Stream) and Viviana L. Russell (D – Westbury) joined the leaders and supporters of the Health and Welfare Council of Long Island for their Endless Summer Soiree on the Greens at The Royalton on the Greens in Melville on Wednesday, Sept. 16. Funds raised at the event are used to pursue their mission and “strengthen communities by connecting individuals and families to vital services, supporting nonprofits, and advocating for policies that expand opportunity and well-being.”
“At a time when our nation’s affordability crisis is impacting more families than ever, the work of the Health and Welfare Council of Long Island is more essential than ever for the communities we serve,” Legislator Solages said. “I am proud to stand with them and support their noble mission – one which touches lives across Long Island.”
