WHAT: Nassau County Legislator Siela A. Bynoe (D - Westbury) is partnering with the Long Island Alzheimer’s and Dementia Center to host “Caring for the Caregiver” - the third installment of Legislator Bynoe’s ongoing series of Sip & Talk virtual community conversations related to Alzheimer’s disease and dementia.
Scheduled for 7 p.m. on Wednesday, June 15, the webinar will feature expert presenters who will discuss the importance of self-care strategies, how to identify caregiver stress and fatigue, and opportunities to access community resources. There will also be activities, a question-and-answer session, and discussion during the webinar.
