“I am grateful to Governor Kathy Hochul and the State Legislature for increasing critical funding for Nassau University Medical Center. Thank you to Senator Siela A. Bynoe for her leadership in ensuring NUMC was compliant and positioned to receive this $109.6 million state investment - one of the most significant in years. This funding will help stabilize our county’s safety-net hospital and protect NUMC’s role as a trusted safe haven and Level I Trauma Center for families across my district and Nassau County. This is an investment in lives saved, access to care, and the future of a vital community institution.”
