(CARLE PLACE, N.Y.) – Nassau County Legislator Viviana L. Russell (D–Westbury) proudly joined the Carle Place community on Sept. 19 for an exciting homecoming game under the lights at Carle Place High School. Superintendent Canonne served as the evening’s special guest announcer as hundreds of students, families, alumni, and community members cheered the Carle Place Frogs to a thrilling 50–38 victory over Lawrence.
“Carle Place’s community spirit was undeniable under the Friday night lights, and the hard work and talents of the high school’s cheerleaders, musicians and student athletes created an electric atmosphere,” Legislator Russell said. “Congratulations to the Carle Place Frogs on your win – it was a magnificent evening, and I was glad to be a part of it!”
