WHAT – Nassau County Legislator Carrié Solages (D – Lawrence) and New York State Assemblymember Michaelle Solages, Chair of the New York State Black, Puerto Rican, Hispanic and Asian Legislative Caucus, are partnering with community stakeholders to present the inaugural South Asian Advisory Group town hall meeting at the Elmont Memorial Library on Thursday, March 2.
Presented in partnership with the Muslim Entrepreneur Association, New York Grows Together and Khalsa Community Patrol, this upcoming forum is as opportunity for elected officials to hear directly from members of the South Asian community on the issues that matter most to them. All community members are encouraged to attend and share their experiences, opinions and feedback.
