(ELMONT, N.Y.) – Nassau County Legislator Carrié Solages (D – Valley Stream) invites Third District residents to join with the Nassau Police Veterans Association in supporting Toys for Tots this holiday season. Now through Friday, Dec. 20, individuals can drop off a new, unwrapped toy or gift card at Nassau County PD headquarters or one of the eight police precincts, including the Fifth Precinct, located at 1655 Dutch Broadway, Elmont, N.Y. 11003.
“Supporting Toys for Tots means putting a smile on the face of a deserving child and showing them that they are loved and cared for by their community,” Legislator Solages said. “I encourage everyone to give what they can so that we can continue to spread the magic of the holiday season across every part of Nassau County and our region.”
